The RPVS Act defines the scope of data entered into the Public Sector Partner Register. You will learn who the ultimate beneficiary is, what data is recorded, and how the beneficiary is identified through an authorized person.
The scope of data entered into the public sector partner registry is defined by law. The data entered includes identification information about the public sector partner, beneficial owners, and authorized persons.
Who is a beneficial owner
Simply put, a beneficial owner can be defined as a natural person who actually controls or exercises control over a legal entity, a natural person who is an entrepreneur, or an asset pool. This is therefore a natural person on whose behalf the public sector partner conducts its activities or business. Their identification is carried out by the authorized person.
