We have extensive experience in addressing personal data protection issues, both under the old legislation and under the new GDPR Regulation and Act No. 18/2018 Coll., which have been in effect since May 25, 2018.
We provide legal advice on assessing the legality of our clients' personal data processing, as well as advice on setting up processes that will comply with current legislation.
We continuously monitor the guidelines of the Office for Personal Data Protection in order to adapt the processes set up for our clients to the practices applied in the Slovak Republic in a timely manner. We also prepare legal opinions and analyses on the use of camera systems and GPS monitoring in relation to the monitoring of employees during working hours and other data subjects.
Our law firm works closely with Top privacy s.r.o., which provides comprehensive expert advice on the processing of personal data in the private and public spheres, the preparation of security documentation, and the provision of the services of a data protection officer in accordance with Article 37 et seq. of the GDPR.
